The service

A snagging inspection is a visual, non-invasive check of the finishes, fittings and workmanship of a property, carried out by experienced builders from Kev Decor. It is not a structural survey, a building regulations compliance check, an engineer's report or a valuation. We do not lift floor coverings, open sealed areas, test drains or certify electrical, gas or heating installations. Where we see signs of a possible structural or safety problem, we note it and recommend a specialist.

The report

The report lists the defects visible on the day of the inspection. Items may be missed if they are hidden, inaccessible or appear later. The report is for the person who booked it.

Prices and payment

Prices shown on the site are the full price. No VAT is added. Payment is due on the day of the inspection. A re-inspection after repairs costs €150.

Cancellations

You can cancel or move your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed time.

Liability

Our liability for any claim related to an inspection is limited to the fee paid for it, except where the law does not allow this limit. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
